Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to oversee the testing, commissioning and successful energization of electrical systems for substation and power infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems and associated electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and health & safety regulations. Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation and coordination skills are essential to ensure the safe and timely completion of commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, and energization activities for electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • 1. Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and verification of protection relays, switchgear, transformers, control systems, and associated electrical equipment.
  • 2. Review engineering drawings, commissioning procedures, test reports, and technical documentation while maintaining accurate commissioning records.
  • 3. Coordinate with project managers, clients, vendors, and site teams to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities and successful project handover.
  • 4. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and international electrical codes while identifying and resolving technical issues during commissioning.
