Fabrication and Welding Foreman

Job Highlights:

  • Supervise welding and fabrication work at the workshop and site
  • Lead welders, fabricators and helpers to complete jobs safely and on time
  • Supervise RFCC repair work on reactors, regenerators, CO boilers, cyclones and other equipment
  • Handle piping, welding, fitting and fabrication activities as per drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with the QC team for welding inspection and NDT activities
  • Supervise repair and maintenance of heat exchangers, coolers, valves and other equipment
  • Read and understand engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Plan and supervise shutdown and major repair activities
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment and measuring instruments
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure HSE, PTW and PPE requirements are followed
  • Maintain records of work, materials, tools and equipment
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to team members

Requirements:

  • 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in an RFCC plant
  • NDT Level II certification in at least 3 relevant disciplines
  • Experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries
  • Experience in RFCC CO Boiler, Reactor and Regenerator repair works
  • Good knowledge of welding, piping and fabrication
  • Knowledge of ASME, ASTM and AWS standards
  • Good English communication skills
