Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Protection Engineer to design, test, configure, and commission electrical protection systems for substation and power infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with protection relays, control panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and SCADA integration while ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations. Strong analytical, fault analysis, relay coordination, and troubleshooting skills are essential to ensure the reliable and safe operation of electrical power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Configure, test, and commission protection relays, control panels, and associated protection systems for substations and power infrastructure projects.
  • 2. Perform relay testing, fault analysis, relay coordination, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation of electrical protection systems.
  • 3. Review protection schemes, single-line diagrams, wiring drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • 4. Coordinate with project managers, commissioning teams, clients, and vendors to support protection system testing, energization, and project handover.
  • 5. Ensure all protection activities comply with HSE regulations, IEC standards, and quality requirements while maintaining accurate test reports and commissioning records.
