QA/QC Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer with 8 years of relevant experience in the field of engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards and compliance across all engineering and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

2. Conduct inspections, tests and audits to ensure materials, equipment and workmanship meet specifications.

3. Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.

4. Prepare and review quality documentation, including reports, checklists and inspection records.

5. Coordinate with project teams, contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to quality standards.

6. Monitor and report on quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

7. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations related to quality control.

Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, standards and procedures in engineering projects.

2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

3. Effective communication and coordination abilities with teams and stakeholders.

4. Proficiency in quality management systems and related software tools.

Preferred:

Experience in the Oil & Gas, Construction, or related engineering industries is highly desirable.
