Technician - Electrical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a competent and experienced Electrical Technician to perform maintenance on critical electrical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry is strictly required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on various electrical systems, including switchgear, motors, generators, transformers and control circuits.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and failures in power distribution and control equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with Oil & Gas safety standards and electrical codes.
• Perform routine checks, inspections, and testing of electrical protective devices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of maintenance work, equipment conditions, and material usage.
